Lindsay was born and raised in McElmo Canyon on her family’s farm. She spent her childhood days there playing and exploring outside. It was then she formed a lifelong love with the earth beneath her feet.  She completed her bachelor’s degree at Fort Lewis College majoring in sociology but she returned home to the farm after living for a while in Durango. Connection to place is at the core of all Lindsay does:  from the work she chooses, to the farm she loves deeply and it’s always how she chooses to use her free time for fun. In addition to joining the staff at DRBA, she also works at Montezuma Land Conservancy and as the primary manager, laborer, market gardener at the family farm that abounds with veggies, chickens, fruit trees and lots of flowers. Lindsay loves playing the in dirt, arranging flowers, exploring the world around her surrounded by her three amazing small humans and extended family.
